In the main building you'll find reception downstairs – just push the button on the phone and someone will be there and help you soon. There is a fully equipped kitchen where we serve breakfast every morning from 6 to 10 (cereals, toast & rolls, honey, jam & marmalade, tea & coffee).
In the living room there is a fireplace, games and guitars. Through the outside area with couches and tables you access our cosy TV room. Lots of movies to choose from here and two internet terminals.

Downstairs there is a public pay phone, on a separate line so you can receive calls as well as make them. It costs 10 cents a minute to anywhere in the world. There is a laundry with washing machines and clothes dryers, and just in front of the building a spa pool, hot relaxation all year round!

Upstairs as well as our sunny balcony and conservatory areas, you can find the largest international book exchange in New Zealand.

Our showers operate with high pressure hot water so you get a massage and not a trickle!

Down the narrow garden pathway you'll find the smoking hut, so smokers don't need to stand around outside.

There are two other buildings containing our ensuite doubles and a self-contained apartment for up to 8 people, very comfortable for groups and families.

We are an eco friendly hostel, using solar power and recycling everything possible, including left-over clothes!
